High Court Enforcement Officers (HCEO, formerly known as sheriffs officers) are authorised by the Lord Chancellor and are required to undertake detailed training before being authorised by a Master of the High Court.
The certificated enforcement agents who act under the control of the HCEO are also required to undertake training to at least level 2 under the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2014.
As a result, we take great care to ensure that all we do is undertaken:
- Legally and procedurally correctly
- Safely for all concerned
- In a manner that protects the reputation of our clients
We have appropriate insurance for the hazardous work we undertake (“rescue” level insurance is not adequate), we have stringent health and safety procedures in place and conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
